Hello everyone! Meet Karen, our San Diego based brand ambassador! She is a San Diego State University alum with a degree in education. She has always loved kids which made it an easy decision to get a degree to work with children! Karen graduated in 2009 and since has worked with different school districts and non-profits where she managed before and after-school programs. In 2012, The Network for a Healthy California— Children’s Power Play gave Karen the opportunity to film for a documentary!!

When Karen isn’t working with children, she is a tour manager, a brand ambassador, spokes-model, and product specialist for various experiential events in the marketing world. Fun fact: Karen is a major foodie! Who doesn’t love to eat?! Karen hopes to start culinary school soon and fuel her passion for food. In her free time she likes to bake, ride her bike, go surfing (the quintessential Cali girl), play video games, enjoy the beach and outdoors, and get crafty. Karen does face painting for fun. This allows Karen to use her love for being crafty while also working with kids and putting a smile on their face! She hopes to have her own face painting business in the near future. Karen loves to help others and puts everyone else before herself. Currently, she is a Little Amigos Spanish Teacher and tutor for Great Minds at The Whole Child Learning Company. Karen is bilingual, kind, caring, hardworking, and has so many aspirations! We love a person with life goals!!
